We work closely with the following organizations:

American Contract Bridge League (ACBL)

Founded in 1937, the ACBL is the largest bridge organization in North America, serving over 165,000 members. Every year, we sanction over 3.5 million tables of bridge, played in more than 3,000 bridge clubs and 1,100 sectional and regional tournaments, plus 1 million tables played online. A challenging and rewarding card game, bridge draws players of all ages and walks of life – from Bill Gates and Warren Buffett to astronaut Greg “Box” Johnson.

American Bridge Association (ABA)

The American Bridge Association was formed in 1932 by black tennis players at Buckroe Beach, VA. During this time, blacks were excluded from most bridge events. Dr. M.E. DuBisette became the first president  and the first National Bridge Tournament was held in Buckroe Beach, Virginia in 1933.

American Contract Bridge League Educational Foundation (ACBLEF)

Founded in 1987 as a charitable arm of the American Contract Bridge League, the ACBL Educational Foundation became an independent 501 (c)(3) nonprofit foundation in 2017. The Foundation’s mission is to get more people playing bridge, not only by growing the number of competitive bridge players, but by introducing the game and enriching the lives of people of all ages and from all walks of life.
